Find your feet in Headingley & Meanwood

Did we mention how leafy our locale is? We're actually right on the edge of the beautiful Meanwood Park, separated only by a burbling stream. A seven-minute walk through the park takes you to the Waitrose and Aldi supermarkets in Meanwood so you can stock up the fridge.

But if you're not in the mood for shopping and cooking, just head out to dinner! There are cafés, bars and restaurants aplenty in Headingley and Meanwood, and they're all walkable.

It's 10 minutes on foot for fish and chips from Kirbys, beers and wines from Bottle Chop, and an easy stroll to many more foodie finds. Try The Myrtle Tavern, Alfred, Salvo's, Three Cottages Café, Heaney & Mill or Zaap Thai.

You can bob into Bare Coffee for brunch during the day and Headingley's main Arndale shopping parade with its shops and cafés is a 5-minute drive. And, of course, you can catch a bus to Leeds city centre at the top of the road.

While you're in the neighbourhood, you must pay a visit to the fabulously retro Cottage Road Cinema too!
